Time Spent at Home

We typically spend the mornings outside the house.  But when we're at home, Karis likes to work on craft projects.  She makes pictures with noodles, paints, colors and draws.   She also likes to work on her Pre-K workbooks and play with the iPod.

Makena spends a lot of her time taking care of her baby doll.  She walks around with it up on her shoulder, she burps her, changes her diaper and puts her down for naps (she even turns on the sound machine and closes the bedroom door).  She also has two or three favorite books that she asks me to read to her many times each day.  She's finally into watching TV -- her favorites for now are Peppa Pig and Max and Ruby.

Kyle just hangs out and looks around.  He's usually being entertained by one of his sisters.  He'll stay up for about an hour and then go down for another nap.

My favorite time of day is after Kyle's 4 o'clock feeding.  The girls usually come into his room and I'll read them a book.  We then just play with Kyle and hang out until I have to get up to start dinner.  I love hanging out with them all together.  The girls will then play in their room while I'm in the kitchen making dinner.
