Karis and Her Little Brother

I asked Karis if she remembered when Makena was small like Kyle.  She said she didn't.  It's fun seeing her have such a different relationship already to Kyle than with Makena as a newborn.  Karis didn't really get what was going on nor did she have much of a vocabulary when we brought home Makena.  With Kyle around, she has all kinds of questions and comments.

When she saw me burping him for the first time:  "Mommy, don't hit him."
While nursing:  "Mommy, why is he eating you?"  "Is one juice?"

When the girls come home, the first thing they do is run upstairs and look for Baby Kyle.  It'll be fun to see their relationship grow.  The other day Karis told me that Makena is her best friend.  So sweet!  I hope she one day finds a best friend in Kyle too.
