Sleeping Beauties

Karis and Makena got a new loft bed.  Someone at church had a friend who was giving one away.  We took it since we will be moving within the next year and there's a good chance that the girls' bedroom won't be as spacious as the one they have now.

The girls are loving their new arrangement.  We got rid of Makena's crib about a week or so ago.  She's now sleeping on her crib mattress on the floor.  We found that with Karis, this was a good transition before getting a real bed.  We'll need to get her a twin bed soon.

Here is a picture of the loft.  There is a slide that hooks on the right side, but we're holding off on putting that up.
