We had an appointment today for our sequential screen/1st trimester scan. The baby's size and heartbeat were both deemed as "good" and right on track with our expected due date. Initial diagnosis was that our baby does not have a chance of having down syndrome or other genetic birth defects. We'll get official results in about one week.
From what the doctor could see, there were no signs yet of "boy" parts. She said that there's a 3 out of 4 chance that the baby will be a girl. We'll go back for another ultrasound in 6 weeks and we'll know for sure. Hopefully our late blooming boy will have developed his parts by then! =)
