Makena had an upper respiratory infection and right when she was almost better, Kyle got a sinus infection. We were thankful that none of us had the flu that was running rampant at the elementary school, but it was a long week or so of waking up in the middle night to try to tame the fevers. So with a lot of illnesses, a week of rain, the birthday party and the time change, Spring Break couldn't have come at a better time.
On Monday, we went to Michael's to work on a craft.
We then went to The Tubes as it's been awhile since the kids have played there.
It was a beautiful day so we spent most of our time at the outside playground. Here are my three pirates on the ship (the third one can barely be seen behind the steering wheel).
On Tuesday, we took Ryder to get his check-up and yearly vaccinations. The dog did great...the kids, not so much. =)
We spent that afternoon at the park. It was another gorgeous day.
The plan for the rest of the week: lots of rest and lots of play!
